Draft, pending review. Chronicle is a preview service.
What we store
Your email address and name, as you give them when you register, plus what you tell Chronicle: activities, entries, plans, check-ins, and your chat messages and their replies.
How it is used
Only to provide Chronicle to you: saving your entries, answering your questions about your own timeline, and sending you check-ins about your plans. Your data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to train AI models.
Who can see it
Your timeline is private to your account. Other users can't see it, and the assistant only works with your own entries. The administrator's screen in the app shows only your name, email address and access status, never your timeline.
Where it is kept
Microsoft Azure in the United States. Messages are processed by an AI model hosted in Azure (Azure OpenAI). Azure OpenAI doesn't use them to train models, though Microsoft may keep them for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring. Database backups are kept for 30 days, plus a monthly export of your data kept until you delete your account.
Sign-in
Sign-in uses Microsoft Entra External ID with a one-time code sent to your email. We never see or store a password.
Your choices
You can download all your data, or delete your account and all your data, including the monthly exports, at any time from the menu in the app. Database backups that still hold deleted data expire within 30 days.
